Arcforma AI (arcforma.ai) | AI Engineer (Marketing / Construction / Fashion & Luxury) | REMOTE (US only) or ONSITE NYC | Full-Time $80k-$120k + equity, or Contract $50-$150/hr | jobs@arcforma.ai
We build production AI systems inside other people's companies: hotel groups, automotive retail, creative agencies, consumer brands. One industry at a time, sitting next to the operator whose job the system changes. Very little of it is generic LLM plumbing.
Two ways in.
CONTRACT, PROJECT-BASED ($50-$150/hr). For people who already have the domain. A scoped first project, typically three to six weeks. This is most of what we need right now, and it is how we would rather start with anyone senior.
FULL-TIME ($80k-$120k + equity). For strong engineers earlier on who want to go deep into one industry with us instead of staying a generalist. We teach you the vertical. You bring the engineering.
Pick one track. Depth in one beats a tour of all three.
MARKETING. Lifecycle and CRM automation, brief-to-asset pipelines, creative variants with brand guardrails that hold, attribution. You have fought HubSpot, Klaviyo, and the Meta and Google ad APIs.
CONSTRUCTION. Invoices in, mapped to contracts, schedule of values, and cost codes, back out as pay applications. Then RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedule impacts. You know why generic invoice parsers stall when half the input is handwritten. Weighted toward ex construction tech and people who have run operations at a GC or a sub.
FASHION AND LUXURY. Merchandising and assortment planning, tech packs and PLM, Shopify Plus and PIM, allocation, replenishment, demand forecasting, size curves, markdown optimization, clienteling, creative workflows.
ALL TRACKS: You own a system end to end (data in, evals, an interface the client actually opens), and you can sit with a non-technical operator and leave with the right spec.
TO APPLY: email jobs@arcforma.ai with the subject line
HN | TRACK | Your Name | your applicable background in one short line
TRACK is MKT, CON, or FASH. For example:
HN | FASH | Jane Okafor | 6 yrs building allocation and planning systems at a DTC apparel brand
The body: what you shipped that is applicable to the role, a link we can open (GitHub, a writeup, a demo), LinkedIn, and your timezone plus whether you want contract or full-time and at what rate.
Every application gets a reply within five business days. 20 minute call, paid trial on real work, then a project or an offer.

Instinct Science | Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Elixir + React) | REMOTE (US)

We build the platform that powers animal hospitals — a cloud-native EMR with real-time clinical decision support and applied AI that helps veterinary teams practice at their best. Thousands of users across the globe rely on what we ship every day.
We're at an inflection point: proven product-market fit, scaling fast, and greenfield work ahead that will serve tens of thousands of users. Engineers here own problems end-to-end — from talking to veterinarians about their biggest frustrations, to shipping production code, to iterating on real feedback. You're measured by customer impact, not story points.

Founder Ventures (Rankwise, Debriefing, OutFriend) | Head of Growth and CEO roles | REMOTE (Europe/US friendly) | Equity-led
Founder Ventures is a venture studio building bootstrapped B2B SaaS. Three of our companies are hiring the person who will own their commercial side outright, working alongside a technical founder who ships daily. These are founder seats with an equity-led package. We say that up front because it is the first thing worth knowing.
Rankwise | Head of Growth | https://tryrankwise.com The infrastructure layer for AI search. Measures whether AI engines cite you, finds the questions they answer without mentioning you, then drafts the articles and ships the live-site technical fixes that close the gap. Live and self-serve. Own acquisition, conversion and retention end to end. Apply: jan@tryrankwise.com JD: https://founderventures.io/careers/rankwise-head-of-growth
Debriefing | CEO | https://debriefing.io Competitive and market intelligence as a recurring brief. A displacement play against sales-led incumbents charging $15K-$50K+ a year, at $2K-$4K, AI-native and product-led. Live product, technical founder in place, the commercial side entirely yours to own. Apply: team@debriefing.io JD: https://founderventures.io/careers/debriefing-ceo
OutFriend | CEO | https://outfriend.com Cold email that sounds like you. Learns a sender's voice from their own past emails, runs the campaign, handles follow-ups, and surfaces the replies worth answering. Built and launching, go-to-market wide open, so this is the earliest seat. Apply: stefan@outfriend.com JD: https://founderventures.io/careers/outfriend-ceo
Looking for people who have run growth or revenue at a B2B SaaS, done it at early stage, can sell personally, and think quantitatively. PLG experience matters more than headcount managed.
Symbolic.ai | Senior Fullstack Engineer | REMOTE (worldwide) | Full-time
Symbolic builds the AI platform that professional newsrooms and communications teams actually run their work on: research, drafting, fact-checking, and publishing, with editorial integrity as the constraint rather than an afterthought. Founded in 2023 by Devin Wenig (former eBay CEO) and Jon Stokes (Ars Technica co-founder), ~$12M raised, small team. Clients include News Corp, WSJ, Dow Jones Newswires.
We are looking to expand the venn diagram of our fullstack team in the direction of very advanced React expertise. While this is a fullstack position, we are seeking someone who has worked on the frontend of complex real-time collaboration products built in React.
Email me: gilles@symbolic.ai. Tell me about the most complex thing you built in React.
Cologne, Germany | UMH | Product Engineer | Full-time | 55 - 85k EUR | ONSITE (part remote)
Hi, Alex and Jeremy here from UMH.
8 years ago, Jeremy was absolutely frustrated with the status quo of data infrastructure in manufacturing. Companies paid millions per year for "shitty 90s software" and are still doing that today, when there is much better software out there for open-source. So we decided that we can do this better, first founded a System Integrator, realized most of the tasks in setting up and maintaining a data infrastructure can be standardized, and decided to found the currently VC-backed UMH, which is built on open source software and is open source itself.
What we're actually building: We build and scale a real-time data platform that runs hundreds of Benthos pipelines inside a single Docker container (UMH Core), processing millions of industrial messages that control actual production processes.
Plus a local-first user interface (Management Console) where both non-technical factory workers and power-users/developers can work together. And yes, we care about UI in enterprise/industrial software.

PermitFlow (YC W22) | Staff, Fullstack & Frontend Software Engineers | New York, NY | ONSITE | Full-time | https://permitflow.com PermitFlow’s mission is to streamline and simplify construction permitting in the $1.6 trillion United States construction market. Our software reduces time to permit, supporting permitting end-to-end including permit research, application preparation, submission, and monitoring.
We recently raised a $54M Series B led by Accel with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Felicis, Altos Ventures, and YC.
Permitting is a challenging yet interesting problem; thousands of municipalities across the United States have their own processes and requirements - many which are continually updating. Software, AI, and LLMs provide an exciting opportunity for us to reason at scale and distill a nuanced and localized permitting process into a standard and streamlined experience for our customers.
We're looking for customer-obsessed, ambitious, and hard-working teammates who are excited about solving a real-world problem with technology at its helm.

Vitabyte | Full-Stack Engineer | Astoria, NYC | ONSITE | Full-time | $110k–$130k
We build payment and point-of-sale software for restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, mostly on Oracle MICROS Simphony (we're an Oracle partner). Small team, real money moving in production — you own systems, not tickets.
Stack: Go (Echo, GORM, Postgres) for the payments API and the Oracle SPI/OPI service; Next.js / React / TypeScript for the operator portal; Kotlin / Jetpack Compose for the Android card-terminal app.
Looking for ~3–6 yrs, strong in Go or TypeScript and happy to learn the rest. You care about correctness (a double-charge isn't a cosmetic bug) and can read an existing codebase. Payments/Simphony experience is a plus, but we'll teach it.
Apply: email george@vitabyte.com with something you've built and shipped — what it did and what was hard.
Dave Evans | Founding Engineer | Remote | Full-time | $170k-$210k + meaningful equity
I’m hiring the first senior engineering hire for an early-stage multi-agent product.
This is for a senior backend/platform builder who still likes shipping product, not just designing systems. The work is a mix of orchestration, integrations, reliability, auditability, and getting useful workflow automation into users’ hands quickly.
You’d work directly with me to turn a strong technical direction into a dependable product.
Best fit: 6+ years shipping end-to-end, strong backend judgement, product range, low-ceremony style, and comfort with ambiguity.
Helpful if you care about retries, tool boundaries, observability, and human override in AI systems.
Comp is in the $170k-$210k base range with meaningful equity.
If that sounds like your lane, email dave@evanlee.co.uk with a short note and links to shipped work.
There is a massive competitive advantage right now in building 'boring' infrastructure manually instead of rushing to wrap an AI API.
While the trend is to build a conversational interface for everything, I've found that real businesses are still bleeding time on core sales friction. For example, moving away from static PDFs to interactive live sales quotations requires rock-solid, hand-coded database architecture to handle real-time pricing, currency locking, and instant approvals. You simply can't prompt an LLM to reliably handle that level of strict state management.
Taking the time to write the core logic yourself makes the system predictable. Businesses don't pay for the AI novelty; they pay for seamless operational execution
ResortPass | Senior Software Engineer, Frontend | New York, NY | Full-time, In-Office | $160K-$180K + equity | resortpass.com
We're rewriting resortpass.com — starting with our highest-traffic surfaces (SRP/DLP) — and need a Senior Frontend Engineer to be the technical anchor. ~75% of pages get touched this year: international expansion (Mexico & Caribbean now, Europe next), in-housing search from Algolia, a new Hotel SaaS tool, and Spa as a major new vertical.
Senior role, Staff-leaning scope, clear path to Tech Lead. 2/3 of traffic is web, so performance is business-critical (Core Web Vitals, SEO, caching), and this codebase is also our launchpad for AI features (concierge chatbot, AI spa booker).
Stack: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui. Backend: Rails, Node/AWS, Postgres, MongoDB. Playwright + Datadog.
You'll own: technical design (RFCs) for major rewrites, reusable App Router patterns, code quality/mentorship for a junior-leaning team, and API contracts with backend.
Need: 6+ yrs production web apps, deep React/Next.js expertise, proven track record leading high-traffic rewrites with measurable results. Strong full-stack engineers open to leveling up on React also welcome.
Visa: not standard, possible exception for exceptional candidates. JD + Apply: https://uctalent.io/referral/Huynh_Nhu_Bao_Nhan221138/v8QmsN...
